Basic Engineering Course (BEC) is a common one-year course for all streams where students are taught the basic engineering principles associated with Maths, Physics & Chemistry. Students also get first hands-on exposure in Engineering graphics, which will help them later to draw complicated sketches and design drawings. English language proficiency is also given focus to enable students to comprehend lectures, notes and technical literature as they progress in their field of study.
